Today was a busy day for us. For starters, Alex had to go back to work, so I had to call in reinforcements! My mom, grandma, and aunt all came to help us out and drive me around since I can't drive yet. It started at 8:30 am with the Home Care Nurse coming to the house to check out Collin. He looked very well and his blood work came back this afternoon lowered, so we were able to take him off the BiliBlanket this evening. However, we have to go back in the morning for more blood work and a doctor's appt to make sure he is adjusting ok to being off the blanket.
The second appt of the day was for me. The rash appears to be healing, but the doctor is still concerned, so I am to remain on antibiotics for another week and go back next Friday for another follow up.
The third appt of the day was for the girls. They had their 3-year checkup and got good reports all around. Emily is weighing in at 31 lbs (50th percentile) and 37 1/2" tall (50th percentile). Riley weighs 27 lbs (10th percentile) and 36" tall (25th percentile). Riley is a little small, but nothing to be concerned with. It just all stems back to the TTTS complications during the pregnancy. The girls start preschool in a week, so they were given a clean bill of health to do so!
