In June, we went with Alex's family to Outer Banks in North Carolina. On the way down, we stopped in Colonial Williamsburg for a night and the kids enjoyed the sights. While on vacation, we went and saw wild horses. They are completely dependent on the land and it was awesome to see them in their natural environment. We also went to Jockey Ridge State Park. They have the largest sand dunes on the east coast. The kids could have stayed there all day if we had let them. We had a great time and enjoyed every minute together. The weather was gorgeous and the week was absolutely amazing. There were 8 adults and 7 kids in the house, but it actually went very smoothly. The kids all do so well together and we were all very sad to see it end.
