Upward Basketball is over! The girls had a great time and we appreciate all of the hard work that went into making the season wonderful for all of the kids involved. To end the season, there was an awards night to recognize the coaches & players.
Also this weekend, we had a great event at the Brown County Fairgrounds sponsored by the Farm Bureau and other businesses. It was a wonderful community event. There was a pancake breakfast, Easter Egg hunt (I swear there were about 3000 eggs!), petting zoo, tractor races, horse rides and much more! I feel very blessed to live in a community that believes in reaching out and enjoying life together! Last night, the Gaslight Theatre had a Family Movie Night and provided popcorn and drinks for kids free of charge too. We have a had a great family weekend and have not had to leave our small little town. We appreciate all of those that have helped out in putting on these events!
