Week Update

Boy our new house is keeping us busy. We are getting so close to moving in. Everything is just about ready to go for move-in. We could actually move in now b/c the house is finished. We just have so many 'little' things that need touched up and fixed. We're hoping they can get all of those fixed within the next couple weeks. Once again, it all comes down to the septic. They did at least get part of it this past week, but it is not fully finished. I hope to post some pictures soon of the final product! It is starting to become real as we are spending more and more time out there working on things and figuring out where everything will go. Stay tuned......

Collin is finally feeling better. He was pretty sick all week and still through the weekend. He did much better yesterday though and is on the upswing!! Finally!

Grandpa is still at the OVM, but has been moved. He has been moved out of the rehabilitation unit and into the long term care. They really do not think he is going to walk and we don't foresee him coming home. We are still hoping that we can get him well enough to at least leave the OVM and go home for the day. It is hard to believe it has been 4 months since his stroke. We never imagined our lives being turned upside down so much by this. He was such a big part in all of our lives. The girls really miss him and pray for him every night for him to get better to come home and live by them. I think they understand more than we think. Please continue to pray for his healing and my grandma as she makes her daily trips to be with him. The only days she misses is when she has been sick herself.

I hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather. It has been so long since we've all seen the sun and temps into the 50's & 60's!!!
